A exposição Gigantes por Natureza retoma o espírito dos gabinetes de curiosidades e das gravuras científicas do século XIX, quando arte e ciência se encontravam no fascínio pelo mundo natural. A mostra propõe um mergulho no microcosmo dos insetos — especialmente besouros e borboletas —, explorando sua riqueza estética e sua complexidade estrutural por meio de imagens em grande escala. The exhibition Giants by Nature revisits the spirit of 19th-century cabinets of curiosities and scientific engravings, when art and science converged in a shared fascination with the natural world. The show invites viewers to immerse themselves in the microcosm of insects — especially beetles and butterflies — exploring their aesthetic richness and structural complexity through large-scale imagery. Much like 19th-century entomological illustrations, the exhibition reflects a desire to catalog, understand, and admire these creatures.
